New Delhi: The cracks within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seem to be widening with more voices of dissent ahead of the party's national executive on Friday.
At the party office bearers meeting, a letter from senior leader and former Union minister Arun Shourie became the newest weapon to criticise the party's poll strategists.
In the letter to party president Rajnath Singh, Shourie has said that conspirators are taking over the party, and responsibility must be fixed for the defeat.
Significantly, Shourie's letter was read out by Jaswant Singh, who was among the first to go public with his resentment against the party leadership.
However, Rajnath Singh refused to allow the letter to be circulated, saying it was not part of the agenda.
