Vadodara:
Balkrishna Shukla, a Member of Parliament (MP) from Vadodara, has requested Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to set up a gymnasium in Parliament's premises.
"There are all types of facilities in Parliament, including library, bank, airlines office etc. However, a gymnasium facility is missing," he told reporters in Vadodara.
"During the Lok Sabha sessions, MPs have to sit for long hours. A visit to the gym would re-energise them," Shukla added.
"When I met and requested the Speaker in her chamber a few days ago, she assured me to look into the demand and appreciated my point of view on this matter," he said.
