Chattarpur (MP):
A teenaged girl, who was set on fire by four youths of her neighbourhood, on Saturday succumbed to injuries even as police arrested three of the accused in Jhansi.
Two policemen, including a sub-inspector, have been suspended for delay in registering a report about the incident.
The victim succumbed to her injuries late on Friday night en route to Gwalior for treatment, Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Mishra said.
She was admitted to the district hospital from where she was later referred to Gwalior, he said.
The girl was set on fire on Friday by four persons after her mother complained about them to their parents, police said.
