MP rests his hand on head of Gandhi's statue
Jaipur: Paying respects to Mahatma Gandhi took on an entirely new meaning in Pali district in Rajasthan. Badri Ram Jakhar, a local Congress MP from the area, garlanded Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the town square, raised slogans, and then to everybody's surprise used the head of Mahatma Gandhi's statue as a hand-rest to help him maintain his balance before getting down from the dais.

Even little children, who garlanded the statue, showed more decorum than the MP.

Perhaps, Mr Jakhar forgot that Mahatma Gandhi, who is called the father of our nation, doesn't need his blessings.
