Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz in Mubarakan
New Delhi:
Mubarakan's new song Hawa Hawa, picturised on Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz, has all the ingredients of a perfect party track. The song released on Thursday, two days before that weekend party you've planned, so it can headline your playlist. The song is quite upbeat but we do have one problem with this video of Hawa Hawa. We think that Ileana, who is a fabulous dancer (Happy Ending and Main Tera Hero), has been underutilized in the song, in which Arjun Kapoor is all over the place. On Twitter, Arjun shared the song and wrote, "Lo phaela diya raita," which seems true. Arjun Kapoor is admittedly good in the song and not at all the 'underrated actor' he claimed to be a few days back but what about Ileana? She has a couple of dance steps (with Arjun Kapoor) otherwise she is simply walking away from the frame, which constantly focusses on Arjun.

Hawa Hawa is the revised version of Pakistani pop artiste Hasan Jahangir's popular track from the Eighties. The new version, which has been mixed by Aditya Dev, borrows the chorus of Hasan Jahangir's version and has pepped up beats. The additional lyrics are written by Kumaar and the song has been sung by Mika Singh.
Mubarakan, directed by Anees Bazmee, also stars Athiya Shetty and Anil Kapoor. Arjun plays a double role (Karan and Charan) in the film and romances both Athiya and Ileana. Anil Kapoor's character helps solve the great comedy of errors which arises due to 'who is Karan and who is Charan' confusion.
Mubarakan is scheduled to hit the screens on July 28.
