Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty in Mubarakan.
New Delhi:
Mubarakan's The Goggle Song is the shaadi anthem of the season. It is also another excuse (after Kala Chashma) to wear sunglasses to an indoor wedding function (and not look lame). Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty and Anil Kapoor are in full swing and show the moves with which you can be the heart and soul of any sangeet ceremony. Arjun Kapoor x 2 plus his uncle Anil Kapoor have fabulous Punjabi moves while Athiya and Ileana have mastered the Bollywood style in The Goggle Song. The Anees Bazmee-directed Mubarakan is set against the backdrop of a double wedding with many confusions, twists and turns. But more about that later, watch The Goggle Song:
The Goggle Song has been composed by Amaal Mallik while his brother Armaan Malik co-sang it with Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Neeti Mohan.
Mubarakan is the story of Charan and Karan (both played by Arjun Kapoor), who are all set to get married to each other's girlfriends - played by Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty. There's only one man who can solve the crisis, Karan and Charan's uncle - played by Anil Kapoor.
Talking about Arjun Kapoor's double role in the film, Anil Kapoor told IANS: "When I first heard the script, I strongly felt that Arjun should do this film. I felt he is the right actor for this script. He has the capability to pull off such difficult roles and I'm happy that after listening to the script he decided to do this film."
Mubarakan also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Karan Kundra, Neha Sharma and Rahul Dev. The film will hit the screens on July 28.
