Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav criticised the government over the Indo-Pak joint statement issued during the NAM summit in Sharm-al-sheikh in Egypt.
Speaking in Parliament during a debate on the Indo-Pak joint statement, Mulayam said, "The joint statement has sent out a wrong message. The government has gone back on its terror stand."
He also said that India is talking with Pakistan under pressure.
"Why talk with Pakistan when they haven't acted against terror? Why resume talks with Pakistan when there is no action on terror?" the SP leader said.
Mulayam also said that though India wins wars, but it's Pakistan that wins talks.
