Raleigh, North Carolina: The image of a slain US university student body president has turned up on billboards in south India.
The News & Observer, a daily in Raleigh, North Carolina reports that Eve Carson's picture is being used by Jubeerich Consultancy in its billboards advertising study opportunities and job placements in Western countries.
It's not clear how the company came across the photo of Carson, who was abducted, robbed and killed on March 5, 2008. Two men are serving life sentences for her death.
The company did not respond to emails seeking comment, and a woman who answered the phone declined to give her name but said she had not seen the billboards.
