Nairobi/Lucknow: An Uttar Pradesh boy is among the dead in the terror attack at a shopping mall in Kenyan capital Nairobi, his family members said Tuesday.

Pramanshu had gone to the Westgate Mall on Saturday with his mother, sister and a woman bank employee.

The family said they were informed that minutes after they went inside the Westgate Mall, terrorists stormed the mall and started lobbing hand grenades and firing indiscriminately.

Pramanshu was killed on the spot, his mother Mukta and sister Poorvi, 13, were hit by bullets in their leg and hands, and are recovering at a Nairobi medical facility.
