Jaipur:
Hell hath no fury like a minister scorned. At an official function in Rajasthan's Tonk, she refused publicly to sit with VIPs on stage. Golma Devi's name was not mentioned on the invite to the function. So, the livid Khadi Minister scolded her men, asking loudly, "How could you forget me?"
A week later she transferred all the officials from the Tonk Khadi Board. Re-living the incident, she says, "Of course, I felt bad. They should have put my name on the card."
The men she transferred have taken the minister to court. But the minister says there's no proof that this is an act of revenge. She's been given four weeks to explain her decision to the Rajasthan High Court.
Recently, the Congress government in Rajasthan ordered all officials to stand in the presence of MLAs.
