New Delhi: On the 50th anniversary of India-Pak war of 1965, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to the armed forces and said the country is indebted to the valour and determination displayed during that war.
He tweeted:
Earlier in the day, he went to Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate here to pay his tributes to armed forces on a day to commemorate the victory and sacrifice of Indian soldiers in the India-Pak War of 1965.
The Prime Minister laid a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti and wrote a message in the Visitor's Book.
He also met some war veterans and their families.
