Srinagar:
Ruling Peoples Democratic Party today hit out at the Opposition National Conference for its "childish and non-serious" approach towards an issue like India-Pakistan talks.
"The reactions that have come in from the Opposition smack of immaturity and cynicism," PDP Chief spokesperson Mehboob Beg said. "Talks have immense ramifications for the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he added.
"War mongers as well as 'Kashmir and Pakistan bashers' have time and again indulged in creation of an atmosphere of hatred which does not help in any manner whatsoever," Mr Beg said.
The PDP spokesperson said Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led government believes in the dialogue process till the desired results are achieved.
"Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Sayeed have earlier proved that we could live in peace with Pakistan," he said.
The former Lok Sabha member said even the complex "K-issue" was nearly clinched with the emergence of the 'four point formula' and the positive developments like opening-up of the Srinagar-Muzafarrabad Road and the Poonch-Rawalakote road.
