A two-day nature festival opened its gates in Uttarakhand's Rajpur near Mussoorie today.
This is the second edition of the festival held jointly by Forest Department, Mussoorie Forest Division and Rajpur community.
The event hosts activities like nature and heritage walks, drawing contests, handicrafts and food-stalls. Puppetry shows and street plays on social issues were also organised.
"As a community we want to showcase our natural and cultural heritage and also show how a community should try to live in a responsible manner taking care of its natural and cultural resources," Reenu Paul, the organiser, said.
