Navratri 2022: As per the Hindu calendar, Sharad Navratri falls in the month of Ashvin.

Navratri, the festival of nine nights, is observed with the utmost joy and pomp. Devotees, during this time, worships the nine forms of Goddess Durga. This year, the celebrations for Sharad Navratri or Navratri will begin on September 26. The festivities will end with Dussehra on October 5.

Date and puja timing

As per the Hindu calendar, Sharad Navratri falls in the month of Ashvin. This year, the first Navaratri falls on September 26. The Maha Ashtami puja will take place on September 3. 

Timings for Pratipada tithi

Pratipada Tithi begins – 03.23 am on September 26
