Jhargram, West Bengal: The engine of a goods train was damaged and the engine driver and his assistant were injured in a landmine blast set off by Maoists on rail tracks between Jhargram and Khatkura stations near the Bengal border.
The attack, which took place at around 2 am on Thursday, has disrupted train traffic on both the up and the down lines as overhead wires snapped. The injured men have been taken to hospital.
