Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a public meeting at Balasore in Odisha on June 2. Union Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with Mr Panda today visited Balasore and inspected preparations ahead of the Prime Minister's visit.
This government is dedicated to the poor people of India: PM Modi - I had said right from the start, that this government is dedicated to the poor people of India. It is my aim that every state, every district, every neighbourhood progresses.
- The prime responsibility of any government is always towards to poor.
- No matter how popular a person gets, No matter how famous a celebrity gets, No matter how popular a government/party gets, in 3 or 6 months, the concerns of the people start to show.
- We have seen this over the years. But this is the first time that we have observed that even after 2 years the government is getting so much love, support and blessings from the people.
Balasore: The Missile City Of India- Balasore is also known as the missile city.
- Balasore has importance not only in India, but across the world for this very reason.
- When Mahatma Gandhi started the revolt against the British. The Dandi march sowed the seeds of Democracy and gave confidence and belief to the people of the country.
- When Mahatma Gandhi was doing his Satyagraha, it was this land that supported him and did a salt satyagraha in support, to send a strong message to the British.
Balasore that used to be the centre of importance in Kalinga: PM Modi- I have come to the land of Lord Jagannath. He is the god of the poor people. I salute this great land. Famous poet Kalidas had given the title 'Lord of the Sea' to the king of Kalinga.
- It is this place - Balasore that used to be the centre of importance in Kalinga. History and culture have been a part of this great land. I am sure the future of this land is very bright.
- I see a flood of people here, who have come with so much love.
- When a mother consoles her children, praises them, even the child gets motivated to do more, run faster.
- It is quite the same when the people of the country encourage the Pradhan Sevak by showing so much love and support.
