New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan had earlier said that he wants Salman Khan to do a cameo in his yet-untitled film, directed by Aanand L Rai. A few days later, Salman was spotted on the sets of SRK's film. Shah Rukh Khan was asked by new agency PTI about how he convinced Salman for the cameo. He said, "We were at home, Aanand was there when Salman just walked in to say hi to me. He got his new e-cycle for me and for Aryan and Suhana as well. Aanand said I should ask him. I said, "Salman, there's one role', he said, 'Yeah, let me know.' Then, everything just worked out perfectly."
"He is very kind. This (role) was written a long time back in the film, from the first narration onwards. Salman had also heard the script, I think Aanand wanted to make the film with him at one time. They didn't have the time, things didn't work out and VFX wasn't ready," SRK added.
Interestingly, Salman during an event related to Tubelight, his last release, revealed that it in his film. "When Kabir Khan narrated the subject to me, he said, 'For this role we should get Shah Rukh.' So, when I called him and I told him that there is a small role in Tubelight which I would like you to do it, before completing my sentence, Shah Rukh said, 'I will do it.' That's how he made his entry into the movie," Salman told IANS.
In Aanand L Rai's film, SRK plays a dwarf. The untitled film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Earlier this month, SRK reportedly gifted Salman a luxurious car.
Shah Rukh and Salman, both 51, are co-stars of films such as Karan Arjun and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. Salman had a cameo in SRK's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
