Kathmandu:
India will start bus services from Kathmandu to Gorakhpur from tomorrow to evacuate its nationals stranded in Nepal after a massive earthquake in the country.
The Indian High Commission in Nepal has said that by tonight the number of people to be evacuated will be around 2,600.
"We have decided to start road services from Kathmandu to Gorakhpur (UP) from tomorrow. Around 40-50 bus services will be pressed into service," said Abhay Kumar, spokesperson, Indian High Commission in Nepal said.
This bus service will help evacuate Indians which could not be ferried through air while some have proximity through road.
"By tonight, the count of the people to be evacuated will reach 2,600," Mr Kumar added.
