Never thought I'd get this far: PM

Washington: Speaking to an American channel Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he never thought he would lead the country one day.

"I never thought that I would reach that far. I am what I am, because of the education that I received," he said.

He said it's due to democracy that a person with a background such as his can become the Prime Minister of the great republic of India.
