New crime in house where 10 crores was found

New Delhi:

First, 10 crores in cold, hard cash were found in steel trunks in his house in Jaipur. Now, a man who worked for VHP leader Damodar Modi has been stabbed in the same house.

The attack seems especially suspicious because Sushil, who worked with the Modi family for 15 years, was allegedly attacked over a missing key to a bank locker.  Modi's family reportedly asked the man to search for this key.

The same night, he was stabbed by two other domestic helpers who worked in the Modi home.  In addition to the 10 crores at his house, 13 crores tumbled out of Damodar Modi's lockers during income tax raids last month.

Sushil, recovering from multiple stab wounds in hospital, shares, "The daughter in law of Mr. Modi asked me to look for a locker key that had gone missing. She also asked me to check with other servants, and in their quarters. Soon after I inspected their rooms, I was attacked."

Now the police is investigating whether Sushil was attacked because he had details of Damodar Modi's vast amounts of black money.
