The Congress party will soon shift to its new headquarters at Kotla Road in Delhi. Since the Congress split in 1978, it has been operating from its offices on 24 Akbar Road.
On Monday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of Indira Gandhi Bhavan, the new office.
It also marks the marks the beginning of year-long celebrations to commemorate 125 years of the party's formation.
