Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday made it clear that he is not in touch with any non-NDA constituent, nor has any party or leader contacted him.
"I have clarified on several occasions that neither I am in touch with anybody nor any party or leader (from outside NDA) has contacted me. How many times will I clarify. I am saying this clearly that there is no possibility of me being in touch with anybody at all," Kumar told reporters here prior to his departure to Ludhiana for attending an NDA rally.
Kumar's reaction came in the backdrop of both the Congress and the Left parties making efforts to woo him into their respective folds.
The Chief Minister said that he was going to Punjab on the invitation of state's Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
Kumar claimed that, "NDA will emerge as the largest alliance. It will have an advantage. This is what I believe, though we will have to wait till the counting begins. My claim stands on solid base".
He said that other parties would also be attracted to NDA. "The NDA can get majority also. But there is a possibility of NDA plus other parties emerging as a combine."
