Patna: RJD president Lalu Prasad and a host of Bihar ministers today attended the Iftar party which was hosted by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna.
Mr Kumar extended greetings on the occasion and prayed for peace, amity and brotherhood in the society.
"I pray that Bihar moves forward with harmony," Mr Kumar told reporters at his residence where the Iftar was hosted.
Mr Prasad said Muslims along with Hindus pray to the almighty at some places.
Everybody should move ahead with feeling of peace and brotherhood, Mr Prasad told reporters on the occasion.
Lalu Prasad's sons - Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav and Health Minister Tej Pratap - and wife Rabri Devi also attended the Iftar party.
State Assembly Speaker Vijay Chaudhary was also present in the Iftar party.
