The Columbia Business School (CBS) of Columbia University has written to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar requesting him to address its 7th India Business Conference in New York on April 1.
The varsity requested Kumar to deliver the keynote address on "the urgency of inclusive growth and my vision for Bihar", sources at the CM's office today said.
The CM has asked his secretariat to plan out and explore the possibility of his US travel.
The theme of the CBS conference is 'India: an honest conversation'.
The business school also plans to do a case study on the success story of Bihar and the leadership qualities of Nitish Kumar to teach the concept of inclusive growth management sources said.
Last week, Chinese envoy Zhang Yan too had requested the chief minister to undertake a trip to China.
