No end to Chiru's political innings

No end to Chiru's political innings
Hyderabad:

Chiranjeevi in Telugu means 'one without an end' - that is what the megastar's plans are in the world of politics. Despite the Prajarajyam party's dismal performance in the recent elections, Chiranjeevi says he does not see it as a thumbs down at the political box office.

Chiranjeevi is not planning to become a fading star on the political horizon. Even as he was elected legislature party leader for the Prajarajyam, the megastar says he has learnt from the mistakes he made in his debut venture and that facing the electorate within eight months of his political launch was a challenge.

"I look at it positively. People are with us. We don't admit we lost. We achieved something, that's what we think. We will show in next election,'' Chiranjeevi said.

Chiranjeevi's Prajarayam won 18 assembly seats and drew a blank in the Lok Sabha tally. He concedes he has not been able to convert his social justice plank into votes.

Chiranjeevi may not have proved to be an NTR but he says he is not going to return to the world of films, that he cannot straddle two horses at the same time, that he is a long-distance runner and will await his turn till the next elections.
