Allahabad:
The Allahabad High Court hearing several petitions of farmers in Noida Extension and Greater Noida today slammed the Uttar Pradesh government for behaving in an irresponsible manner.
The bench asked why the government had not asked for objections from the farmers while acquiring their land, and assured farmers that 'nobody will be spared'.
"By not inviting objections from farmers while acquiring their land, the state government has behaved in an irresponsible manner," said the court.
While referring to a pending petition demanding a CBI probe into Bhatta Parsaul incident, the judge said, "Why should there not be a CBI investigation into this also."
