Noida:
A day after a young woman was shot dead by a stalker in the Capital, a couple on a motorcycle were shot at in Noida on Wednesday following a dispute over property.
Both incidents occurred at busy places in the National Capital Region (NCR) and in broad daylight.
Manuwah Hussain, 40, and his wife Meena Hussain, 38, were attacked around 9.15 a.m. by a man identified as Ladden, who was driving a Mahindra Scorpio. Meena is in a critical condition.
"The wife was shot in her stomach while her husband was shot in the back at the intersection of Sector 25 and 35. Both were rushed to Kailash Hospital in Sector 27," police said.
According to police, the couple had earlier registered a case against the assailant over a property dispute and this may be the reason behind the attack.
