AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa today welcomed the Supreme Court's order to widen the 2G spectrum probe to include the NDA regime.
In a statement she said, "Resignation of Raja is not the end of 2G controversy, it's just the beginning. The scam reached Himalayan heights during Raja's tenure, his predecessors and his nephew Dayanidhi Maran. So Maran should be interrogated too."
But at the same time Jayalalitha said the Supreme Court monitored investigation should not be used to duck the demand for a JPC probe as a JPC is the only way of getting to the truth.
