Obama arrives at Parliament, to address the House soon

New Delhi: US President Barack Obama has arrived at the Parliament, where he will address a joint session in the Central Hall at 5:30 pm, which has been decked up for the occasion.

Hamid Ansari is making the opening address right now, which will be followed by Obama's 20-minute speech. The Lok Sabha Speaker will give the vote of thanks.

Obama is the first foreign dignitary to sign the "Golden Book" in Parliament. This is a visitor's book introduced by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.
