Obama man meets 'Quick Gun Murugan'

Obama man meets 'Quick Gun Murugan'
Hyderabad: A senior member of the Obama administration flew specially into Hyderabad to meet Rajendra Prasad, the hero of  `Quick Gun Murugan' - a movie that had a cowboy as its central character.

Deputy Assistant Secretary in the US department of State in Washington, Atul Keshap, went to a shooting location in Hyderabad to meet Rajendra Prasad. Keshap had seen Prasad's rib-tickling comedy `Quick Gun Murugan' on a flight from Cairo to Dubai last year.

"First of all its laughter... laughter being the best medicine. I was in a rather stressful negotiating trip so I chose that movie on the flight and it really made me reduce my stress,'' Keshap said.

But finding Prasad in a swamiji's attire was not something Keshap had expected. Prasad's look in his new film is inspired by Swami Nityananda.

The actor however clarified that the film has nothing to do with the controversial godman but is a parody on all kinds of godmen.

"I remembered my first superhit film `Ladies Tailor' because after that when I went to Vijayawada, people there used to gape at me. Keshap's expression also was like this (gapes). I never expected a diplomat to be so honest," said Prasad.

After their meeting, the Obama administrator was gifted Quick Gun Murugan accessories by Prasad.
