The Odisha cabinet on Wednesday cleared the state Lokayukta bill, an official said.
The bill will be passed in the ongoing session of the state assembly.
The last session of the 14th Odisha assembly which began Feb 3 will conclude Feb 13.
The chief minister and the council of ministers will also be under the purview of the proposed Lokayukta.
