Cuttack:
The agitating lawyers will end their nearly month-long court boycott on Thursday against setting up of permanent benches in other parts of the state, Odisha High Court Bar Association said today.
The lawyers have been on the cease work movement since September 28 in protest against the state government recommendation for setting up permanent benches in southern and western parts of the state.
The general body of the Association would meet on Thursday to take future course of action, the High Court Bar Secretary Janmejaya Katakia said.
A team of lawyers would soon visit New Delhi to submit memorandum to the President, Prime Minister and Union Law Minister urging them to ignore the state government's recommendation, Katakia added.
