Srinagar:

Jammu and Kashmir Chief minister Omar Abdullah will attend the assembly session for the first time after he announced his resignation on the floor of the House after sex scandal allegations made by the Opposition.

In a dramatic turn of events, Omar stormed out of the house on July 28 after announcing his resignation in a huff.

J&K Governor N N Vohra, however, did not accept his resignation and rejected PDP's allegations. The CBI also cleared Omar's name in the sex scandal.

Omar Abdullah resumed work last week after the Governor rejected his resignation.

Omar had resigned after PDP leader Muzzafar Baig claimed in the state Assembly that the CM's name figured in a list of suspects in the Srinagar sex abuse case.

However, while resuming his work, Omar said taking revenge was not his way of working, instead he would reach out to the Opposition.

The Governor had while rejecting Omar's resignation said there was no reason for the Chief Minister to resign after he got the matter probed by the Union Home Ministry.
Omar had said the allegations levelled against him by the PDP should be probed and if found true, the Governor must immediately accept his resignation.
