A pre-wedding party took a horrific turn when a businessman pushed his son's friend off the terrace of a five-star hotel in Uttar Pradesh. The chilling incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, has been captured on a CCTV camera installed at the hotel in Bareilly. In one of the frames, the victim can be seen touching the feet of the man who attacked him just moments later.
Sarthak Agrawal, said to be a businessman in the health sector, has been admitted to a medical college in a critical condition after he was pushed. He had gone to the hotel to celebrate a friend's wedding. At one point, an argument broke out between him and Ridim Arora, one of his friends. It escalated into a physical fight around 2 AM. Ridim allegedly called his father Sanjeev Arora, a textile businessman, to the scene.
Footage shows a heated argument between the two groups before Sanjeev Arora enters the frame. Sarthak Agrawal is seen touching Sanjeev Arora's feet just before he grabs him by the collar, slaps him and then pushes him off the terrace. While other rush down to check on Sarthak, Sanjeev Arora doesn't stop there; he turns to another man and beats him up.
Sarthak Agrawal's father Sanjay Agrawal said, "Neither my son nor I have any idea who these people are."
A First Information Report stated that the accused were drunk and attacked the victim without any provocation. A case of assault causing grievous harm has been registered.
