Dhanbad: One person has died after a fan safety belt inside a mine in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district collapsed today.
About 22 workers had gone to the underground mine early in the morning. Most left a while later, but about six people were still working in the mine when the accident happened.
The mine, owned by Bharat Coking Coal Limited, is located in the Pudki Baliharia mining area, about 10 kilometres from Dhanbad Railway Station.
