One killed, four injured as high tension wire falls in Kashmir Valley

Jammu: One person died on Saturday while four others were injured when a high tension wire fell in Omah area of Verinagar in Kashmir Valley, officials said.

Expressing grief over the incident, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Minister Gulam Ahmed Mir called for a probe into the incident.

He also directed the administration to grant compensation to next of kin and medical facilities to injured persons.
