One shot dead by security forces in Lalgarh

Lalgarh: A person, alleged to be a People's Committee against Police Atrocities (PCPA) supporter, was shot dead on Thursday night by the combined security forces in West Midnapore district's Salboni area. Biplab Sahu was killed on the spot in the firing at Satpati village, while seven others were injured.

PCPA spokesman Asit Mahato has threatened to surround the security forces camp in the village.
