The ban on outsourcing by the state of Ohio, and recent protectionist projections by President Obama, have worried India's IT industry and its policy-makers. In an exclusive interview to NDTV's Shweta Rajpal Kohli, Montek Singh Ahluwalia says America should be aware that restrictive actions on outsourcing are being watched very carefully in India. However, Ahluwalia, who is the deputy Chairman of India's Planning Commission, adds that India's options are limited because the ban does not violate current international trade laws.
