Over a 60 couples with disabilities from different districts of Maharashtra tied the nuptial knot at a mass marriage in Thane near Mumbai.
A total of 108 couples, of which 25 were visually - impaired while 40 handicapped, arrived hand-in-hand and on wheelchairs at the venue from places like Nandurbar, Jalna, Jawhar, Mokhada.
The programme was jointly organised by Hindi Bhashi Ekta Parishad, Rajastani Seva Samiti, and Bramha Foundation.
Some of the guests also joined the ceremony performing the 'kanyadaan' (a marriage ritual) of some of the brides.
