Pact to help track Swiss accounts

New Delhi: India and Switzerland will sign a pact today that will help the government track secret Swiss accounts, many of them a hiding place for unaccounted wealth amassed back home.

The revised Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement will be signed after a meeting between the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and his Swiss counterpart in the Capital.

The revised pact will facilitate the exchange of information on Indians holding secret bank accounts in Switzerland.
