The Pakistani army says a soldier accidentally crossed the Line of Control into Indian territory and authorities are in touch with India to have him returned.
The Associated Press said a Pakistani military official crossed the LoC on Thursday afternoon in Khoi Ratta sector.
Both countries have traded new charges of firing and ceasefire violations along the 742-km Line of Control.
On January 8, relations plummeted after Pakistani soldiers killed two Indian soldiers on Indian territory. One of the bodies was found decapitated.
