Pakistan hands over unidentified Indian body to Army

New Delhi: Pakistan has handed over an unidentified body of a flash flood victim to Indian authorities in Kargil. The body has been brought to Leh.

It is suspected that the body could have flowed into Pakistan via the Shog River through Turtuk and Tyashi.

The body of the flood victim was handed over in Kargil at the Line of Control (LoC) at 1 pm. It is decomposed and has not been identified so far.

Pakistan's Director General Military Operation (DGMO) called up his Indian counterpart to seek the transfer of the body.
