Jammu: Pakistan Rangers violated ceasefire by resorting to firing on a Border out Post (BoP) along the International Border (IB) in the RS Pura sector of Jammu district.
"The Pakistan rangers resorted to firing on the Tent Guard outpost in the RS Pura sector last night," a Police officer said today.
He said that around five to six rounds of small arm fire was fired on the outpost. However, the Indian side exercised restrain.
"The Indian side exercised restrain and nobody was hurt on our side in this latest incident of ceasefire violation," he said.
