Jammu: The Pakistan Rangers Saturday resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, police have said.
"The Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing at Vikram outpost of the BSF (Border Security Force) in Arnia of RS Pura sector of the international border today," a senior police officer told IANS.
"The firing started at 12:15 am. The Pakistan Rangers used automatics and small weapons to target the BSF post," he said.
"The BSF troops retaliated to the firing. The firing exchanges continued up to 1 am," said the police officer.
