Srinagar: Pakistani troops fired at Indian positions along the Line of Control in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, injuring three civilians, police said today.

"Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing at Churanda in Silikote area of Hajipeer sector, Uri," a police officer said. Uri is some 105 km from state capital Srinagar.

Three civilians who were injured in the Pakistani firing were taken to a hospital, the officer said.
