Srinagar: Pakistani troops violated ceasefire again along the Line of Control or LoC in Mendar sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Pakistani troops fired at Indian posts in the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch and the firing has been going on since morning. The Indian Army has also retaliated to the heavy firing.
There have been a series of ceasefire violations in the region; this is the fifth violation by Pakistani troops in five days.
A 12-year-old girl was killed and five others were injured on Friday when Pakistani troops targeted Indian Forward Posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district.
