Violating the ceasefire yet again, Pakistani troops resorted to "unprovoked" firing on Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Ladakh last night which was retaliated by the Indian side.
Pakistani troops fired at Indian positions in Shakma sector of Skardu region which was retaliated by the Indian soldiers, Army officials said in Delhi today.
In Islamabad, Pakistan Army claimed one of its officers was killed and a soldier was injured in the firing. However, Indian Army officials said they have no knowledge about any casualties on the Pakistani side.
