Opposition Blames Centre For Parliament Impasse
Several opposition parties on Monday accused the government of stalling Parliament and finding ways to divert attention from the opposition demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe (JPC) into the Adani issue.
Leaders of opposition parties, including those from the Congress, DMK, RJD, CPI-M, CPI, NCP, JDU, AAP, and Shiv Sena, met in the chamber of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament House complex in the morning and coordinated their strategy on the demand for a JPC into the Adani issue.
They later addressed the media after the first adjournment of both houses.

Time Sought For Rahul Gandhi To Speak In Parliament: Congress Chief
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said time has been sought for Rahul Gandhi to speak in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday and he will make his statement if allowed.
Mr Kharge also slammed the BJP-led government over the Delhi Police team reaching Mr Gandhi's residence on Sunday to inquire about his "women are still being sexually assaulted" statement made during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
"They are trying to divert attention from the issues we have been raising. It has been 46 days since the yatra was completed and they are asking now, 'whom did you meet'. Lakhs of people connected with the yatra and met him (Mr Gandhi) for five minutes and they are asking to identify people," Mr Kharge told reporters here on Monday before leaving to attend Parliament.
