The two men who triggered a massive security breach in the Lok Sabha have been identified as Sagar Sharma, who hails from Lucknow and is the son of Shankarlal Sharma, and 35-year-old D Manoranjan, the son of D Devaraj, police sources told NDTV Wednesday afternoon. The two detained outside are Neelam Devi, a 42-year-old woman, and Amol Shinde. 25. Two others have also been linked to the conspiracy, including Lalit Jha, at whose home in Gurgaon the other five stayed.
Police sources have released limited information about the intruders, but have made the Aadhaar cards of Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan public. They have also said Manoranjan hails from Mysuru and an undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences from a city college. Neelam Devi - one of those from outside Parliament - is from Haryana's Hisar, and was studying for the civil services entrance exam.

According to Neelam's brother, she was actively involved in the controversial farmers' protest of 2020 against the Narendra Modi government's three farm laws, but is not linked to any political party.
Shinde is from Latur in Maharashtra.

All four have been arrested and the anti-terror cell of Delhi Police is leading the investigation. Top officials, including Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, are at Parliament and the canisters have been seized as part of forensic evidence in this case.
Parliament Smoke Attack: What Happened
At 1.02 pm chaos erupted in the Lok Sabha after one man jumped from the visitors' gallery and ran into the chamber. A second remained in the gallery. Both deployed canisters spewing yellow smoke. In a video shared online, the man who ran into the chamber jumped desks to try and evade capture.

However, he was eventually cornered by MPs. Furious opposition lawmakers, understandably concerned for their security, have questioned the breach, pointing out the smoke could have been toxic. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, whose office is in-charge of security, promised a thorough investigation.

A visitor's pass was recovered after the two Lok Sabha intruders were caught; photographs of the pass are with NDTV and indications are they were issued by the office of MP Prathap Simha.

Mr Simha, the ruling party's lawmaker from Mysuru, has told NDTV he will meet Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to explain his position regarding the requests for passes that was forwarded by his office.
Shocking visuals of the breach showed one man, in a blue shirt and believed to Sagar Sharma, jumping from desk to desk as he tries to evade capture and reach the Speaker's Chair. The second - Manoranjan - remained in the gallery and burst his canister, presumably to distract staff from his accomplice.

Meanwhile, moments earlier, Neelam and Amol were detained outside Parliament after they set off red and yellow-coloured gas canisters and shouted slogans against dictatorship.
Delhi Police sources have told NDTV the two incidents are likely related.

These breaches come on the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, which was carried out by Pakistan-based terror groups and nine people, including eight security staff, were killed.
