Mumbai:
Top leaders of Nationalist Congress Party and others paid homage to RR Patil at the party office in Mumbai on Monday evening.
Mr Patil, former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and senior NCP leader, passed away on Monday evening after a prolonged illness.
His body was kept at NCP office in Mumbai for 'darshan' and he would be cremated at his native place Ajani in Sangli district today.
NCP leaders Praful Patel, Ajit Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal, Supriya Sule, Dilip Walse Patil and Jayant Patil paid respects to their departed colleague.
State Congress Chief Manikrao Thakre, party leader and former chief minister Ashok Chavan, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale also visited the NCP office to pay their respect.
